Hotel Valle del Este

Guests appreciate the spacious, clean rooms with lovely decor and fantastic views. They praise the friendly staff and varied breakfast options. Some mention the large bed and excellent toiletries as highlights.

I've been coming to this hotel for the last 12 years and I have to say that this was the best stay ever. We were a group of 26 golfers and the group all commented on the high standards of rooms, golf course, facilities, etc. The food in the restaurant was superb, the rooms were clean and tidy, the golf course was in the best condition I've ever seen it and the service was brilliant. We'll definitely be back again next year.

A group of 20 of us have just been here all golfers some have taken their wives so probably around 32 people. The golf course is in a stunning location and is really to be fair a beautiful golf course however the greens were some of the worst greens I have played on in Spain They were so slow and bobbly it really did spoil the golf. The hotel it’s self I upgraded to a suite and when I walked in it was like walking into a hotel room in the 80s very tired with absolutely no frills whatsoever. The bathroom was the same black grime around all of the surfaces and the shower the tiles were dreadful. The first day I played golf my wife booked in for a massage. It cost €120 and she took a lot of pictures whilst she was in there broken tiles everywhere on the floor and on the wall and she said it was one of the worst experiences she’s ever had in a spa. She said it was very impersonal and not private at all. The bar in the hotel was a shambles usually only one person working behind there. One of the barman was possibly the most miserable nasty bar man I have ever come across he was making a jug of sangria and he got so angry with it. He put the stirrer straight through the bottom of the jug everything going everywhere then that is the Beer again. I might seem to be over exaggerating but possibly the worst beer I have tasted in Spain. It is absolutely dreadful. Flat served in pint glasses that must be over 20 years old. The whole place just looks like the owner has given up because I don’t think any money has been spent in that place in a long time there was one lady a Spanish lady behind the bar. She was absolutely lovely the rest of them more or less threw your drinks at you. On the plus side if you walk about 500 yards off the complex there is a lovely bar called Karen’s bar which serves fantastic drinks and great food at a very reasonable price. There was also a very nice Italian restaurant there as well, the hotel was dreadful.
